From Data Patterns to Design Passion

I'm a design nerd, and I have been since I was a kid in the Chicago suburbs. I constantly rearranged my bedroom to find that "just right" feeling. Even today, good design, whether it’s a flawless UI or thoughtful architecture, tickles something right in my brain.

My path took a deliberate detour through logic: a Computer Science and Statistics degree from the University of Illinois. After graduation, I spent a year and a half as a Data Analyst. This wasn't a mistake; it gave me the bedrock of systematic thinking and taught me the power of asking "why."

But I was missing creativity. I realized my most satisfying work involved sketching better experiences for the data I was analyzing. The instinct to arrange and curate never left, it just evolved. Now, I’m getting my Master’s at DePaul, fusing my analytical mind with my creative heart to build user-centered solutions.
